How to get to Andros?

One of the most important pieces of information you need to know is that Andros is connected to Attica only from the port of Rafina. The trip takes only 2 hours by conventional ferry and there are daily sailings.

How to get to Rafina port

From the Airport

By bus from the Airport

Athens International Airport is approximately 10 kilometers from Rafina. You can use the Attica bus line to Rafina, which departs from the Arrivals Level, between Exits 2 and 3, opposite the airport hotel.

Bus services from Athens to Rafina are operated by KTEL of Attica and depart from METRO Nomismatokopio station.

By own vehicle

With your car or motorcycle

The easiest and quickest way to get to Rafina with your vehicle is via Attiki Odos — Ymittos Regional Road following the signs to Rafina. Via Marathonos Avenue turn right towards Rafina port. Alternatively, you can use only Marathonos L. without tolls.

Step 2

Getting to Andros Island

To get to Andros you will have to get by ferry from the port of Rafina. The trip takes only 2 hours by conventional ferry and there are daily sailings, which become more frequent on weekends and in the summer.

You will disembark at Gavrio, the main port of Andros. From there, follow the main road towards Chora; within 7 km turn right at the first intersection towards Batsi village. Our hotel is in the center of Batsi, right in front of the beach.
